Don't let anyone tell you that making gnocchi is easy. Delicious and irresistible as it is, and made from cheap, readily available ingredients, you'd find it all over the place if it was easy to make. But you don't. Dammit.
I never learned to make gnocchi because I lived so long in the Veneto, where they came from. So I could get a ready supply without making them myself. But this is no longer the case. Dammit.
