Today was the official first day for the iPad in Italy. There were the usual lines, anticipation and excitement that accompany an Apple launch. The Italians have already embraced the iPhone with great fervor, as they are among the most enthusiastic cellphone users in the world.
The two major newspapers, La Repubblica of Rome and Il Corriere della Sera of Milan are now ready for the iPad. In the video, a Repubblica journalist presents the new version of the paper, which is an exact copy of the paper version, with some added features.
