Not all eggplants can be as serene as I am. Some of my relatives in India, the brinjals, are upset that they may be genetically modified. Eggplants are (justly) popular in India, and are said to originate from the sub-continent. I don't know, I originated from San Francisco. I haven't been genetically modified, either.
