Is Italian or French the most beautiful language?

Although it may be politically incorrect, Italian and French are very commonly mentioned as the winners of The Most Beautiful Language contest.
I myself have a hard time with this one. I know French well, it was my minor in college. I'm still undecided. Call it a tie. That French is a strong contender over Italian can be seen by this song, by the Monaco-born Leo Ferre'. One of the most beautiful songs in history. Leo, who was partly of Italian origin, lived in Tuscany 25 years and died in Castellina in Chianti in 1993.
