I never thought I'd see the day when FIAT would come to the aid of an American auto company. My second car was a FIAT 131- a good-looking vehicle, but it lived up to the joke that the initials stood for "fix it again, Tony." Actually, they stand for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino (Italian Automobile Factory Turin.)
