Rents in Italy

According to the housing association Sunia, rents in Italy have gone up 130% over the last ten years. The increase would be 145% for Milan and Rome, where rents are highest.

A small (80-square-meter) apartment averages 2300 euros for downtown areas of the two major cities, and 1200 for outlying areas of the same.
