It's getting close to lunchtime, and having a can of salmon on hand and plenty of short pasta, I decided to take a stroll through the web for ideas on making a pasta dish with salmon, but without cream.
This is when I came upon a restaurant in South Africa named Sfigati, causing significant hilarity in the Eggplant. Sfigato is well-established Italian slang for "loser." So this would be The Losers Restaurant, or maybe, for Frenchies, Chez Loser. In fact, if you take a look at their site, you will find the most improbable Italian cuisine and spelling you have ever had the misfortune of seeing. Shall I mention the bacon and banana pizza? And there's a lot of competition in this area.
