Italian proverbs- aprile, non ti scoprire

First of all, April Fool's is Pesce d'aprile, that is, April Fish day. It is also the time to perpetrate pranks and tricks on others. Why does it refer to fish? This, like most things in life, is shrouded in mystery. But it may have to do with the fact that fish are not generally perceived to be the sharpest of all creatures. Although they make for fine eatin'.

A timely proverb: aprile, non ti scoprire. Don't be so quick to shed your coats and jackets in April. Although you see many people do just that- some of them walking around in shorts or tees.
